2. About Arfur
Arfur is operated by B17 Invest AS, a Norwegian company registered in Fredrikstad, Norway. We develop a cultural digital platform for human-verified cultural preservation supported by AI, with Nordic Tales and Filipino Tales as the first universes.
3. Use of Services
You agree to use our services only for lawful purposes. You may not: • Use our services in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems • Copy, reproduce, or redistribute our content without permission • Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from our platforms
4. Intellectual Property
All content, including stories, illustrations, animations, software, and branding, is the property of B17 Invest AS or its licensors. Our content is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Cultural stories and folklore are adapted and presented with respect for their cultural origins. Our original adaptations, illustrations, and interactive presentations are proprietary.
5. AI-Generated Content
Some of our content is created or enhanced using artificial intelligence technologies. All AI-generated content is to be reviewed by people for accuracy and cultural sensitivity. This review is under way: some content has already been reviewed, and the rest follows over time. Languages beyond each app's core languages are machine-translated.
6. User Accounts
If you create an account with any Arfur service: • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account • You must provide accurate information • You must be at least 16 years old, or have parental consent • We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms
7. Disclaimer
Our services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. While we strive for accuracy in our cultural content, we do not guarantee that all information is complete or error-free. Our products are educational and entertainment tools and should not be considered authoritative academic sources.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Norwegian law, B17 Invest AS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by Norwegian law. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Fredrikstad, Norway.
